“The Body in Henrys house” is mostly irony because right in the 3rd sentence Henry talks about how there is a body in his house. People that are dead inside a home don’t usually turn out in a good way.
This story makes me think Irony because it just tells you there’s a body. It doesn’t tell you how or why. That’s pretty ironic. Also when Henry drops the body and stick residue is all over the floor, Lydia has to clean it up . Lydia also must clean up the dried remnants of organs and tissue that fell all over the floor. I personally think he should be cleaning up that mess just because it was his body like his responsibility. Not hers. Also I’m very surprised that Lydia didn’t freak out or leave him when he said he had a dead body in his home. Maybe they fell in love too hard? Who knows. But for all we know Henry could of possibly murdered someone or done something very bad.
A dead person inside someone’s home is never a good thing. Sometimes people keep bodies inside their home because they’ve killed someone and don’t want to get blamed for it or go to jail. But usually they end up going to jail anways.
